After some initial issues I managed to get RBM33G to work with miniPCIe MC7445. I have covered specific connectors (23,25,27,29,31,33) on MC7445 with tape so that it's using USB2 instead of USB3. Low level of traffic is all fine – simple browsing and watching some videos from youtube etc.
High speed testing is another story. I get nice and good over 41Mbit/s download speeds when accessing https://speedtest.net/. At some point RBM33G reboots when repeating speedtests. It's currently running 6.44.2. I'm using "PSU Power Adapter 24V2A" as power source. Rebooting has happened also with older ROS versions. I don't get anything special on serial console. No supout file generated even though "/system watchdog automatic-supout=yes" is set.
I get this kind of error message when logging in again:
apr/21/2019 00:20:47 system, error, critical router was rebooted without proper shutdown by watchdog timer
I suspect that MC7455 creates higher power spikes than RBM33G can manage. This thread also tells that it's possible with MC7455 – https://forum.sierrawireless.com/t/mc74 ... tion/12957
Anyone able to give tips how to proceed to debug this, please? Would it be possible to add capasitors to some specific and easy location on the RBM33G so that it would manage power spikes if those area reason for these issues?
