We have a single Wireless Wire Dish set installed for 8 months without issue, starting to go on the fritz. It started with the link bouncing in/out 1-2 times daily in clear weather, to 4-5 times, and now, it's completely out. Occasionally it will link, showing the normal RSSI and Phy rate, along with the same beamforming sector. I've updated the package from 6.42.5 to 6.45.5 and also upgraded the firmware to 6.45.5. I will be trying a new dish on either side to see if it's a bad hardware on one side.
What's really interesting is that the side that's operating as mode:bridge, shows the Frequency as "58320," blinking in and out every second, like there's a problem in the auto-channeling process. Statically setting the channel causes it to remain, but the mode:"station bridge" side doesn't connect or see the bridge in a scan.
I'm not aware of any 60GHz interference that could be in the area. The Dude shows that my clear weather signal has been -48dBm with a PHY rate of 2.3 Gbps continually over the lifetime of the link.
Does anyone have any ideas before I start replacing it?
