I wouldn't say that! In Albania you can get an PON connection with 50Mbps/20Mbps (down/up) for about 15 EUR/month. But there is another that I have a LTE Sim Card with unlimited monthly traffic for just 12 EUR/month. Looks fair, at least for small businesses to use that LTE as an Backup Line!Doesn't make much difference witch LTE standard it has. Using LTE as home broadband is hideously expensive.
You'd be disappointed with a CAT6 modem but you'd be happy to install a CAT4 modem like the EC25-AF?Interesting design and looks great. Disappointed to see only CAT6 modem. Perhaps there will be a SKU without modem, so folks can install EC25-AF or something better. Looks like it has push-out/cut-out holes for external antenna.
The reason I am disappointed with CAT6 only modem in this new router is because Chateau already has CAT12 modem. You'd be disappointed with a CAT6 modem but you'd be happy to install a CAT4 modem like the EC25-AF?
their shop says that it's on stock, and they have 20 units. and not a single word on routerboard.com..
Indeed, why is that ?and not a single word on routerboard.com.
availability .... May 20. Above "in stockBut the product is listed as Available in that shop...
Chateau is just ghost device with ghost stable Ros7.0 and LTE external connectors.... produced and dedicate at start for ISP (not for end-user directly). I hope that use M.2 instead of mPCIe but I not see FCC or other confirmation :(. Technical speaking it's better then hAP ac³ who exist and be buy now!.This device looks quite redundant when it coexists with Chateau LTE12.
What's the difference between those two apart from pci-e slot and lte 6 vs lte 12?... It doesn't seem like difference significant enough to launch new device. Even price difference insignificant 220 vs 230 usd...
