PoE compatibility list update?

Fri Jul 17, 2020 6:41 pm

Hello

Is this list still maintained?
https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:T ... lity_table

I bought a mAP lite and it works great with a Cisco Catalyst 3560-8PC.
Cisco PID: WS-C3560-8PC-S
This means it most probably works with the whole Catalyst 3560 or 3750 series with 100M ports and PoE.

Kind Regards

The compatibility list haven't been updated for quite some time, but it would represent only the compatibility against devices in our lab. It is not possible to test devices against every possible device, so, it is assumed, that devices with the same standards are compatible. The wiki article is only informative and kept for archive purposes, for older devices. There are only a few PoE standards and the compatibility standard is mentioned in device PoE specification.

So far with my MAP lite, It doesn't work with any ZYXEL, Mokerlink, or Ubiquiti POE switches, and I have only had it working with a TP-LINK basic 5 port POE.

The device does not draw enough current to switch on the POE at the switch end.

Some help with this would be appreciated - Is there anything in the OS that can help?
