I would love to see SFP+ only routers, I generally run switches anyway so having a dual SFP+ router would be amazing especially for home use etc, where you can have WAN on 1 SFP+ port and LAN on another. Would make things simpler for future as well when cable modems etc lines drop with 2.5gbe / 5gbe and 10gbe. I feel like having the ethernet on the routers is sometimes such a waste when all the ports but 1 is empty which could save a few cents at manufacturing time.

Thoughts?

A CCR2004 has SFP+ ports. Or you could use a router on a stick configuration with a CCR1009 and your SFP+ switch.
