License : Upgrade process to "delegated" license

Thu Jul 12, 2007 4:45 am

Dear All ...

I buy RouterBoard (with RouterOS in it) from some resellers.

Since I already have my own Mikrotik Account, I ask them to "delegate" the license to my account per http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Virtual_Folders

They did it.
I try to "upgrade" the level (not just "version update") of one of the license, but it didn't work.

I need to upgrade that license from, i.e :
- level 4 to 5 and 6
- standard channel to Supper-channel"
- etc etc

I tried to select one of the key (level-4, issued on 2007-07-06 ), and click the "upgrade" button.
And the respon always : "This key already have full features! "

Any help please ...

regards

There should not be any problems to upgrade license to custom frequency option, 'request key' option should help you to accomplish this.
Level upgrade from level4 to level5 is not possible time ago, you need to purchase new level5 key, when you need higher license level.

I tried to request one key ... success .. and now it's on my folder
Click on it to select ... and click the "upgrade" button.
This key already have full features!
So how to upgrade this key to Super-Channel ?
I'm sure currently this key is not licensed for super channel.

There should not be any problems with request key, it should work fine.
But if you have problems with upgrading to CF, I think only way to resolve your issue is to contact support and clarify the problem reason in order to avoid such issue in the future.
