Replacing an RB750UP

Fri Jan 08, 2021 4:30 pm

Hi,

At the moment I'm using a RB750UP to passively power a hAP AC Lite and an RB2011UiAS-RM.
RB2011 is my gateway and CAPSMAN Controller, hAP AC Lite is my CAP, RB750UP is purely used to save on power sockets.

Would the RB260GSP be the recommended upgrade from the RB750UP, as the 750 is limiting my network to fast ethernet throughput due to the 10/100 Ethernet ports, leaving a bottle neck if I replace the hAP AC Lite with a wAP AC?

RB260GSP is a switch only running SWOS, It is a bit limited for management.

The Hex POE would be more of a match to the RB750UP

thank you for the suggestion, but as I'm using the RB750UP as a dumb switch, the RB960PGS looks like complete overkill to just provide Passive PoE with Gigabit throughput to a couple of devices.
