IPv6 SLAAC Bridging

Sun Feb 21, 2021 6:59 pm

Hi,

Is it possible to bridge multiple VLANs into a bridge so the IPv6 can be distributed using SLAAC? I am asking this because my ISP only provide a /64 prefix and I don't know how to divide them manually, but I do know that I can bridge the interfaces/VLANs so they can have the same multicast address.

With /64 you are limited to a single slaac subnet which should correspond to a single vlan.
Ask your ISP for at least /56.

as said by Halfeez92, you can't split that /64 and use SLAAC. You CAN bridge a VLAN into the same broadcast domain so long as the MTU matches. WiFi APs are bridges for example, so anything that looks like ethernet will work so long as you keep your MTUs good and have a good network design.
