rb4011igs+ power adapter question

Mon Mar 01, 2021 3:24 pm

Hi,
I hope this is in the right place. I'm looking for OEM part number for the power adapter included with the rb4011igs+, as I've misplaced it.

The product page @ https://mikrotik.com/product/rb4011igs_rm shows:
Powering

Details
Number of DC inputs 2 (DC jack, PoE-IN)
DC jack input Voltage 12-57 V
Max power consumption 33 W
Max power consumption without attachments 18 W
FAN count Passive
PoE in Passive PoE
PoE in input Voltage 18-57 V

and there's an image under "Included parts" that shows "24V 1.5A power adapter".

I emailed Mikrotik support and I completely understand that they don't sell directly to customers, but why can't they tell me the part number included in the box?? Instead, I get "the spare power adapter, product code is "SAW30-240-1200GA" or "24HPOW". SAW30-240-1200GA is 1.2 A (28W) and 24HPOW is 2.5A (60W). You need to choose one depending on your needs."

I didn't get 2 power adapters in the box. There was 1.

I bought it from Baltic Networks, where the product page also lists "(1) Power Adapter (24V 1.5A)", same as the MikroTik product page. However, neither of the 2 options provided by MikroTik support is a 24v 1.5a power adapter. Searching on the MikroTik site for this router, and choosing "Accessories" displays several power adapters, but none of them are 24v 1.5a.

I'm hoping that someone with this model router can tell me what their power adapter part number is so I can order a replacement.

thanks,
will

edit: I should have mentioned that I'm in the US.

Every DC power adapter rated 24V and at least 1.5A will do the job. Just in case I recommend you to use at least 2.0A adapter.

Hello, walvord

There is no option to purchase every PSU separately, for that reason we do offer alternatives. The only thing you should be worried about is the max power consumption you reach on the device. Based on that you can choose your new PSU.
