What sort of write speeds should I expect from a modern SDXC card in my CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+?

It is silly slow, like only around 2mbit/s. I am directly connected to the CCR at gigabit speed. Is the SD controller just really really slow?

How are you using the SD card? Over network using CIFS? CIFS server is known to be slow in ROS, RB device is not intended to replace NAS device.

CIFS can't even write at all. I am using FTP.

I would guess that you will get a couple of 100kB/s out if it. It's simply not designed to be used as mass storage.
