RB4011 10G SFP Module Question

Thu Jun 17, 2021 3:23 pm

Hello everyone.

Just got the RB4011W and am trying to use the 10G SFP for an uplink port to my 10G Trendnet TEG-7080. If I use any of the bridged 1G ethernet ports as the uplink, I can get to my network with no issues. When I plug into the SFP interface and plug into my switch, the interface is active and working but I get no ability to connect to my servers. I noticed when I connect to 1G port my switchport will get an orange light indicating STP activation but when I plug the 10G SFP in, there is only solid green light on my switch and I cannot get to my network.

Can someone help me figure out if this is configuration issue, not using the correct hardware or what my issue may be?

I am very new to networking and Mikrotik and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Did you bridge the SFP+ port with the other ports?

As you can see does the SFP connect to the CPU and not the switch switches. As written above it has to be put in the bridge:
