old WAP AC extreme temperatur

Tue Jul 20, 2021 9:11 pm

My wap ac is with crazy temperature this days 127C and probably much more !

I see there is a huge heatsink on back of the board, probably will try to replace the termal paste (I think have such), however I'm not sure if this will help.
This wap ac work from years and I never see such issue with it

Any idea ?

note: Admirations to Mikrotik, WAP AC is still fully functional with this crazy temperature :D however today dies after several hours of work, I was not able to check the current temp but after I wait to cool down it start to work again but with 100c for around a 1min !

Ou .. the small guy under U102 (last black one on right which is position under angle) just fall as well :( defiantly I will not able to fix it .

Anyway I will replace the wAP.

Still I'm impressed with 127+C temperature wAP continue to work for couple of hours :)
