CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+ - 1.25 GB transceiver in SFP+

Wed Sep 08, 2021 3:22 pm

Hi all,

I'm having a CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+ and I want to use a 1550nm transceiver in the the SFP+ cage. I'm using the one that my ISP gave but it didn't want to fire up the interface. I was wondering is this port supports at all 1,25Gb transceivers?

Thanks.

I've been bitten by this as well. You need to disable autonegotiation and force 1G link speed & full duplex:

Thanks. I have tried this bit it didn't work. The transceiver that the ISP gave me is quite old so I'm thinking of buying a new one and try again.

Edit: Something else that I'm thinging It may didn't work because the setting were applied only on my side.

Probably best, those 1G SFPs aren't very expensive. I can vouch for it working with multiple 1000BASE-BX-U BiDi SFPs in my CCR1036-8G-2S+.

Quite possible. If the other end is a similar setup, it may well have to be done there as well.

I don't know the exact setup but most likely it SFP 1.25G transceiver. I will explore what are the options with the ISP.

Thanks for the support :)
