Hi, i know it's possible to upgrade an "expired" licence lev. 4 by using netinstall.
Is it possible to upgrade in a similar way if there is no Windows box around?
Thanks,
ricky

Ok, i was not clear enough.. i have a licence i cannot upgrade anymore (it's a 2.9.25 or 26) and as you know you can still upgrade to new version, but you need netinstall.
I cannot use netinstall as i don't have a windows box, neither wine, it's a routerboard so no removable flash memory..
Is it possible to upgrade someway?
Thanks,
ricky

You may try to find Windows box or run with VMware to run netinstall,
I think it should be cheaper rather than buy new license (especialy when you can avoid it).

As far as I understand, netinstall is just a pxe boot server. Easy to run under Linux etc.
