Recommended Solar Setup

Tue Nov 13, 2007 11:15 pm

Hi guys,

I want to run 2 RB333 with 3 R52H (5 as APs in 2.4Ghz for clients running PPPoE and 1 as backhaul in 5Ghz to main site) in each and want to do this in a remote area with no power available whatsoever. Can someone recommend a professional solar setup as in solar panel requirements, baterry requirements, charge controller requirements, etc to achieve this. Also does the RB333 also use 48V to power over POE in tower deployments?

Thanks in advance.

Check the WIKI.

There have been presentations at the MUMs RE: solar APs.

They give equations, examples, and suppliers.
Things that make you go "Hmmmmmmmm"...
