vlan very slow on RB433AH

Mon Oct 06, 2008 10:53 am

I have switched linux router to RB433AH because of router maintanance. Router is setted for one interface with 7 vlans. After switch to rb, maximum speed is very slow. Maximum about 7mbit for aggregate trunk. Doesn't matter which vlan traffic flows. It is very strange, CPU is under 5% utilization, no queues, no conn tracking. Speed used to be higher than 50mbit.
Any clues ?

Looks like an autonegotiation problem.

also try setting the parent vlan interface to MTU 1504... i think i remember this happening. since VLAN adds 4 bytes to a packet the main interface needs to big bigger (only sometimes, not sure why really).
