This baby would be a good platform for building a NAS.
Are you considering Gb ethernet for it?
Or will the possible bottleneck for fast pushing of large amounts of data be elsewhere?

Would work even better for USB T1 cards and ext storage for CALEA, Proxy, Etc...

We are shipping those with the CA/333 case. The USB solution today is to run USB cables out the N connector hole.

Mikrotik will release a modified case in the next month or two with a larger cutout for USB access.

Got two in today...

Works GREAT !!

Connected A Sprint card, USB drive and GPS module, and all are happy..

(Used a powered USB HUB to offload some of the draw fron the USB port) it is rated at up to 2A but why tax it... when a powered hub is only 15$ us..

Will be putting it thru some more testing !! but do far, so good !!

I did use a USB GPS on x86 hardware, no problem... just as long it's output is NMEA data!

Sorry been away for the holiday...
(Some holiday... I have a serios case of plummers bytt from all the sinks and toilets I fixed !!)

Any how... The USB GPS is AMBICOM GPS-USB...

Works great... (Not the MOST sensitive for indoor.... but outside is fine.)
