With Level1 license you can't use wireless card in ANY version. Downgrade won't help :)

If you have a level 3 license for 4.1, you will have a level 3 license for 4.3 as well. Your license is good for major versions, so if it works on any version of 4.x, it'll work on all versions of 4.x. Have you instead lost your license on your routerboard? Did your 8 digit Soft-ID change?

RouterBOARD license can't expire. If you have a RouterBOARD. you can use it with any version. That's all. If there is something wrong with your license, just apply it again. the key must be in your mikrotik.com web account. Write to support about the problem, and they will help you to fix the license.

You are trying to solve a small issue with the most strange solutions :)

If you have two RB411, you can use 4.3 level 3 on both. If you somehow lost your license, contact Mikrotik support to help you recover it.

the reason is, when i asked the technical support on indonesian mikrotik web(www.mikrotik.co.id), they told me to upgrade to v4.2 rather than v4.3, for safety reason. but, since you put it that way, i feel safe to upgrade to v4.3 now

about upgrading at all - if you encounter some problems, upgrade, if everything is working, why touch working system? :)
