I believe LMDS/MMDS operates in a completely different way from wireless broadband. In L/MMDS, the outdoor RF unit is more like a satellite dish LNB (ie L1 only) than an active L2 component. It merely forwards packets to a DOCSIS+ modem or TV STB.
MikroTik uses off-the-shelf 802.11 components which are built with Ethernet/IP in mind. There aren't any MikroTik products with an RF port, it's all Ethernet. Now that the world is moving to IP (IPTV, VoIP, IP data), L/MMDS is starting to show its age. I would find it highly improbable that MikroTik, or any other vendor, would develop new products specifically for it.
