Switching chip feature

Thu Feb 02, 2012 8:40 pm

Hi all. I have RB1100AHx2. If I use ether1 for WAN, ether2 for LAN and all traffics will use routing and NAT, what role can be done by switching chip?

Yes. I`ve seen. As my understanding, in my setup switching chip has no role. Right?

at the moment - nothing can be improved by use of switch. If you expand your LAN then you can switch LAN port together.
