More 3g routers

Thu Feb 23, 2012 3:49 pm

Are there any plans for more router with builtin 3g ? the 411UAHR is great but it would be good to have an RB with another ethernet interface or maybe 5 with a switch chip.

I could however i'm looking at some a little more industrial type, something that can be mounted in a rack to be more specific, it is for a project where it will be moved in the rack to various locations along with a bevy of other equipment. Each of the places will have various access methods though, 3g, wifi, ethernet. so it would be nice to have a single device to cater for the scenarios. At this stage i'd have to make do with vlans and send it out to a switch to give me my additional interfaces.

Are the eagerly anticipated RB2011's going to have an inbuilt 3G model ? :D
