RB2011LS enclosures

Tue Jun 05, 2012 7:48 am

At last, a great product. I can finally swear off media converters. I hope devices with more SFP ports will follow soon.

Anyway, are there any 19" enclosures planned? Or will there be any enclosures sold separately? I needed few boards ASAP, so I bought them in only way I could - without any enclosures, but I would like to fix this sooner or later ;)

Thanks for a great product.

Thanks!

Something like this is planned. Be warned, this image is from a very old prototype, the final product will look better:

Any ETA on this? And what about other boards with more than 1 SFP port? I mean, something between CCR and 2011LS :)

We only just started shipping our first SFP product, but we do have many more plans for SFP. Keep following our MUM shows and forum announcements ;)

Very Sad to hear you.
Because we are expecting more products with SFP cage from MikroTik. e.g RB-951 +sfp.
This type of RB should be very useful as CPE.
Now on market aren't enough this type of products.

Well, rack case that has space for RB2011 or any other routerboard for that matter and built-in (or space for foreign) splice cassette would be Full of Win (TM). Actually empty space could be used for anything; hiding power supply or whatever.
