Routerboard for Gigabit Enabled Access Point?

Sat May 11, 2013 2:12 am

I was going to try to wait for the 911G in 2Ghz, but since no one seems to know when it will be coming out I was wondering if there would be another good option. I want to use the StationBox enclosure (like the prebuilt one from the Titan Wireless). I would like at least 600mW to 1000mW, Gigabit ethernet, and external antennas. Suggestions? I will be using these as office access points and I like the look of the Stationbox enclosures in publicly visible spaces.

What about using the RB751G with the new indoor stationbox InSpot, although it only has the one external antenna option. 600mw - 1000mw for indoor APs though a bit overkill - plan for capacity, not coverage!

Not a bad idea... the 751 only has one external antenna. Ideally was shooting for 2. But that may work.
