hi, i am new to mikrotik and i have recently bought RB751U-2HnD. I saw it had available 13-14mb RAM. After i upgraded to 6.3 free ram dropped to 6mb without any firewall rules / queues etc.

My question is that is it normal? will be functional at those lvls of ram or i should downgrade to 5.26? I have experienced some wifi disconnections during heavy downloads and i dont know if it was related to low ram lvl or not.

Try to disable as much packages as you don't use ... check under /system packages

i had with v5.26 around 15mb free. But with 6.4 it drops to 6-7 mb.

can u confirm this with 6.4 also?
