802.11AC radios?

Fri Oct 25, 2013 9:29 pm

Does mikrotik have a roadmap for 802.11AC radios in the near future?, specially on minipci for older installations (you could argue 133MB/s is "slow" but i call BS on that, reaching that speed on air is damn near impossible in reality) AND high power.
i have a couple of dirty LoS long hauls that i'm postponing to upgrade waiting for .ac radios (i see no point on going to .n, even at 1W)

edit: fixed for 802.11AC not .13 doh

Get better LoS...

Why do you think the 802.11ac should work any better in bad radio conditions than any previous technologies? Maybe the RF circuity is less noisy and it will have better sensitivity, but to gain more speed you seek, the signal should be clearer as well (including better LOS and interference conditions).

this is not a discussion about having clear los and yadda yadda like that, PLEASE STICK TO WHAT I ASKED or refrain from giving opinions..
Again, WILL THERE BE 802.13AC mPCI RADIOS in the near future?
