Small din mountable router with SFP and DC Power?

Wed Nov 20, 2013 12:53 am

I'm currently reviewing the Cisco CSR 1120 Grid router for an internal project.

We would like to evaluate other alternatives and I have been searching for a router to meet these requirements:
• 2 x Fibre (SFP)
• 2 x 1Gbps copper
• 1 x 3G / LTE (optional)
• OSPF
• Syslog, radius, ntp etc
• DC powered
• Din Mountable.
• Compact size

Out of interest does Mikrotik have anything that may meet these requirements? I have been through the product lineup and couldnt identify any but i'm not that familiar with the products and may have missed something.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Chris

Honestly,

I would LOVE for MT to deploy some DIN rail mountable solutions, but we do not seem to be the primary customer base. (Still would be nice though!). Anyways, if you are looking for the latest and greatest, the projects we have we implement a Siemens Scalence series X300 (I believe) switch that is DIN-rail mountable and powered by 24V DC. http://www.automation.siemens.com/mcms/ ... naged.aspx Good luck.
