How to update RB532?

Sun May 21, 2006 6:25 pm

Hi. I've purchased 5x RB532 Routerboards with routerOS 2.9.20 pre-installed. I'm trying to update to new 2.9.24 routerOS version but when I start ftp the file transfer stop it after some second. I have the problem with all 5 routerboards... what can I do?

Thanks

Connect with winbox to the router,
and use drag-and-drop to download the files from winbox directly, open `files` window, and drag the file to your desktop.

Check your networking; if directly connected make sure you are on the same subnet and don't use mac to attach via winbox. Be careful where the files are dropped. Sometimes they end up in a subdirectory that won't upgrade.

no, because RB500 doesn`t have x86 architecture, so it won`t work properly.
