The new top secret RBcAP2n

Fri Aug 22, 2014 8:59 am

Now that mAP has arrived, please bring us cAP.

Introducing the RBcAP2n.

http://fccid.net/document.php?id=2300402

My guess is: 1x1 MIMO, 2bBi antenna, 79mW, 2-10/100 and USD$45 very similar to the mAP with a bit more power.

I am looking forward to hearing more from Normis at MUM. :)

If "more" concerns a dual-band version then +1..........

I really like the form factor, but if mikrotik doesn't come out with an indoor dual band ap soon I'll be moving away from mikrotik for ap's.

Dual band is even becoming necessary in medium size business and hotspot applications, and it has been for a long time in smb. EVERYONE else has an ap that fits the bill, there isn't an excuse left mikrotik.

There are several 3rd party solutions available already.
This is only one of them.

Be noticed (based on my own expirience) if you want use RB912/911, package not include Antennas and pigtails and you need to buy separately it ... And actually quality of this box very poor (feel like cheap device)...
MTCNA, MTCUME, MTCRE, MTCWE, MTCTCE certified

Because it IS very cheap. But according to what we saw so far of this cAP, it won't be better. Well, we will see.
As soon as the RB922UAGS-5HPacD will be available at the local distributors, I'll buy one and put it into a 3rd party box.

It's fine that is low cost, but is he missed the train 1-2 year.
I hope, soon you can release a more serious product dual band 3x3 MIMO with ac support?
Not only others.

P.S. Sorry but I come again with negative attitude?
