Couple of Questions - quickmount for a basebox && SXT to Basebox

Sun May 29, 2016 7:15 pm

Hi,

Which quickmount would work with a basebox5 on 5cm diameter pole? Or would a couple of cable ties or the metal ring be enough?

Would a Basebox5 with a 120 degree sector (mANT 15s) and 3x SXT 5 Lite be enough for (max) 470m?

Sector will be on a house on a side of the hill, 2 SXTs would be on the bottom. Incline isn't that much (20m) and only vineyards between the 2 points.

Sorry for the dumb questions, I don't really get the opportunity to test these types of networks. "mantbox" pdf says the 5 Lites should be fine at this distance but asking won't hurt.

Thanks

This one attaches to the BaseBox directly:

Yes, definitely. Such setup could reach even 10Km, depends on the speed that you want to get. Max speed allowed by protocol should be reachable below 2Km according to wireless calculators, but this will also depend on the environment and other things.
