R52

Tue Oct 31, 2006 2:44 pm

I can't seem to get an answer for this.
When R52 is set to a 5 or 10 mhz channel does it listen on the same 5 or 10 mhz channel? Or is it like the CM9 and listens on a larger channel?

I have read (on this forum) that the r52 does indeed listen on 5/10mhz channels and cm9 ill only listen on 20mhz.

I cannot say for sure vut I have read it a few times.

It would be best if teh Manuafacture jump in and answer?

From searching the forums it seems the manufacture always avoids answering this question. So to me that means it must be worse than the CM9.

we simply don't have this information, as this feature (5/10Mhz) is unofficial and not documented. Is there even a way to test this?

I can't speak for R52, but i can speak for CM9.

CM9 (and all AR-5213) could :

- Transmit & Receive at : 20 & 40 Mhz
- Transmit at 5,10,20 Mhz, but receive at 20 Mhz.

How to test ?

Simple, get a few RB :

- Mode 5 Ghz : scan
- Mode 5 Ghz : 10 mhz -> scan
- Mode 5 Ghz : 5 mhz -> scan

High Regards,
Andrei
