SXT 5 AC bandwith problem

Mon May 01, 2017 6:29 pm

Hi all,

Yesterday I setup point to point bridge with two SXT 5 AC device but I have problem with bandwith.
Max bandwith is 170 Mbps when I copy files through bridge. Test bendwith in mikrotik say around 125mbps. Ping is excelent 1,2 or 3 ms. CCQ is around 90-100%
I try change all canals, but nothing better. I tried to change all protocols (nstreme, nv2, 802.11), but max bandwith is 170mbps.
Link distance is 750m.

Need help.

Ok. I understand. You can see in picture AP side is bridge, when I put client side to station bridge, no connection between devices.

I can't see that.
Anyway you have made a mistake somewhere. Maybe the interfaces are not in bridge mode?

I tried bridge and station bridge. Device connected but no ping between. Do I have to config something else. Disable WDS or something?

This setup doesn't work. I don't know why.

OK tnx. Today I successfully setup PTP. Speed is better, but I have one question.
When I transfer data in one way speed is 400mbps in oposite way speed is 300mbps.

Bridge->Station bridge 300mbps
Station bridge->Brige 400mbps

Whay speed is different?

If you get 400mbps real throughput than where is the problem?Dont expect to get 600+, thats just link speeds you will never reach that.

Problem is one way is 400mbps oposite way 300mbps. Why oposite way is slow 100mbps.

I know now 400mbps is max.

Maybe you have some network in close proximity to that other side on same/near frequencies?
Try running frequencies usage scan on both sides and set it to lowest used channel.
