CAPsMAN and SNMP

Sat Aug 26, 2017 7:33 pm

Hi,

i like to collect more statistics about about CAPs managed by CAPsMAN. I'm used to monitoring noise floor, client count, etc for none CAPsMAN wireless interfaces via SNMP. The information SNMP for CAPsMAN via SNMP is quite limited. Even though the changelog of 3.40 says
snmp - added CAPsMAN interface statistics;
I wounder what statistics were added in 3.40 and what oid they have.

Greetings,
Julian

You could try using:
/interface print oid
At the terminal, if CAPSMAN devices show up as interfaces.

The stats you can finde there are just byte and packet counts. I'm looking for the wireless related values.

Try the print oid suffix wherever you configure capsman.

I'm trying to figure this out as well. /capsman interfaces does not provide a oid print. /interfaces wireless does, but all capsman interfaces don't set their values to the oid you'd expect. So although I can get the interface values they are empty/0.
