Nv2 ptmp poor results

Wed Jan 17, 2018 4:21 am

Hey guys
So we have mostly used nstreme for pmp scenarios but the instability drives me nuts. I've done everything possible but gotten mixed results I've tried increasing and decreasing period size cell radius and made sure I had 100% clean spectrum . My biggest issue seems to be throughput. Most I can push to a single client is roughly 45 meg with signals in 50s but no matter what it seems I can only obtain 100 percent RX ccq on the clients abouut 30 percent of the time. Most receive 60% RX ccq while doing download. Any suggestions? I realized this has been mentioned before but anything short of switching manufacturer would be helpful. Using 5ghz tried running wireless n only with specific rates .

A/c and n hardware. Neither are very good . Even with newest firmware etc. Typically omnitiks to lhg5s and metal 5s

Nv2 is not optimized for AC(can I get an NV3 please with mu-mimo support). Stick with 802 11 for AC.

My experiences with Envy nv2 is I get less throughput point-to-point but for multi-point with all clients busy downloading nv2 is able to handle it.

TDMA is able to handle it, nv2 at the moment is abandoned step-child, last year there was a lite bit moving in nv2 with
the ability for sync, but that never was developed to the end, sync works but it performance is worse than 802.11 on the same channel without sync.
