How to provision CAP to correct profile?

Sun Mar 18, 2018 3:46 pm

Dear All,

I have created different provisioning profiles in order to provision my CAP into the CAPSMAN.

For example, profile 1 is for SSID Block A, profile 2 is for SSID Block B.

However, when I tried to provision my CAP, all of them fall to profile 1 which is SSID Block A.

I have tried to set the identity of CAP as Block_A_AP1, Block_A_AP2, Block_B_AP1, Block_B_AP2 (system>identity) and so on. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the right way to do it as they keep provisioned to the Block A profile. I have played around to recognize them by modifying the name, prefix and so on but futile.

Aside to that for my 2.4GHz and 5GHz configuration in CAPSMAN, is it advisable for me to leave them blank?

Appreciate if you can guide me on this as I'm pretty new to capsman.

Use "Radio MAC" field to specify which radio module will use each provisioning profile.

Re: How to provision CAP to correct profile?  [SOLVED]

Hi All,

Finally I managed to perform such action by specifying the IP address range. For example, profile A for clients from IP 192.168.100.1~192.168.100.10, profile B for clients from IP 192.168.100.11~192.168.100.20. Blank for other parameters.

Example as follow for CAPSMAN provision profile:
