Yes, problematic with the LHG though, I doubt the dish gets warm enogh.Best is to use the heat of the radio/board itself. We see problems with snow on the longer links even if it does not hang to the antenna. Seems to have more influence on 60GHz than rain.
Some time ago I read about problems they had in the Deep USA with LED traffic lights. Being more efficient than the typical tungsten incandescent lamps the things didn't get warm enough and it was frequent to have them covered in snow. They had to add a heating system for the Winter.
Oh and starling droppings could be a problem as well!
In Spain falconry is used to avoid such problems!
