Possible wireless registration bug 6.42.1

Thu Apr 26, 2018 10:03 pm

We currently have more than 150 routerOS APs (models: RB433AH, RB333, RB433L and RB433UL with wifi cards: Atheros AR5413, AR92xx). All of them were working correctly with version 6.37.1, but as a result of the vulnerability reported by Mikrotik we decided to update all the APs to the latest version of routerOS 6.42.1.

Once this update has been made, we have detected the following problem:
In Wirelesss - Registration Tables, we see hundreds of clients connected to each of the Wi-Fi interfaces for each AP and it is NOT true, since real customers are only between 10-20 per AP.
It seems like they are not deleted when the clients leave the interface.

Can confirm, have a Mant15 where this happened. Updated a client board (LHG) and both connections showed up but was unable to 'remove' the old connection.

best bet is to do a supout and send it to mikrotik.
