Client disassoc - AP via CAPsMAN / works when no CAPsMAN

Tue Jul 31, 2018 2:01 pm

Hi,

I have a setup where I have RB1100AH as main router and CAPsMAN setup with 18 RBGrooveGA-52HPacn APs.

Setup in 2GHz mode with four different wlans - no local forwarding.

When working normally in CAPsMAN mode one client does not connect to the network with error
class 3 frame received (7) - device received "class 3" frame (data frame) before completing association process;
When I reconfigure the AP, that seems the closest to the client or to be more specific the AP that the client connects to when in CAPsMAN mode, with the same security and channel settings the client connects without problems.

I can not seem to find where the problem in CAPsMAN mode is.

Current running firmware 6.41.3.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bumping this problem - I have the same issue.

Metal 2SHPn access points, ACKSYS WLg-ABOARD/N clients, set to WPA2 and a passphrase.

When the 2SHPn units are set as standalone access points, the ACKSYS units connect.
When the 2SHPn units are managed by a CHR and CAPsMAN, the clients refuse to connect, giving "received disassoc: class 3 frame received (7)" errors in the CHR logs. The client logs merely say "disconnected from AP".

Other clients (eg, my phone, laptop, etc) connect fine.

6.43.2 is on the CHR and Metal units.

Any ideas?
