I come across a strange problem with a Netatmo Presence Wifi camera that is compatible with HomeKit.

The camera is connected onto my Wifi and there is also a wired Apple TV 4 that acts as a HomeKit hub.

If I set up my Wifi network with CapsMan, the Homekit functionality of the camera does *not* work. I have tried to change settings like Datapath local-to-local, ... to no avail. All my other Homekit devices work perfectly, even when I am away from my home.

But if I set up my Wifi network with the usual traditional way /interface wireless, the HomeKit functions OK.

I would have assumed that both ways of setting up Wifi would end up being the same as far as devices connecting to it are concerned.

Is there a CapsMan setting that I am missing, and that would make my Wifi network being completely compatible with the traditional /interface wireless setting ?

I have tried all these Datapath settings, but that does not change a thing :

CapsMan does not work neither with KOOGEEK SMART OUTLET 01EU and HomeKit.

I need to configure it with standard Wireless interface and NOT CapsMan. Once configured, I can switch over to a CapsMan config with same SSID as Wireless config

It seems that lots of incompatibilities happen with CapsMan and Apple HomeKit (Siri)

Even with this workaround, after a few hours, my KOOGEEK device becomes unaccessible on HomeKit and Siri.

Anyone who has trouble configuring HomeKit devices on a CapsMan wifi network ?

I would suggest to use
client-to-client-forwarding=yes bridge=bridge local-forwarding=no
and try to connect AppleTV via WiFi instead of Ethernet.

client-to-client-forwarding=yes helped me

My config: RB3011 with CAPSMAN for cAP ac and wAP ac

I experience exactly the same problem with CapsMan and an HP OfficeJet Pro 9100 printer on WiFi.

After around an hour, the printer becomes ping-able from some devices on LAN and not from others.

All that is random.

Ping sometimes comes back up for no reason.

The printer is available from the HP control panel, but after a few hours it becomes disconnected.

When stopping CapsMan and reverting to classic Wireless settings on Mikrotik, the printer remains constantly visible, and the problem disappears.
