Does locking to CAPsMan leave the rest of the router alone?

Fri Jan 25, 2019 2:50 am

I am configuring some WiFi APs in CAP mode, and I wonder what happens when I configure bigger ROS devices in that mode?

For example, RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN that has excellent reception, but is also a great router - is CapsMan exclusive to WiFi functionality, or it takes entire router hostage?

(Maybe it is a dumb Q, but ROS is big.)

The CAPsMAN takes care about wifi1 and/or wifi2 interfaces only. The rest of functionality and interfaces you can use and configure as you like.
