Wed Feb 06, 2019 10:48 am

Hello everyone
I try to use the mikrotik wireless calculator (https://mikrotik.com/calculator) but every time I enter the link, I had to go back to Riga Town. I would like the calculator to show me the local City of Kinshasa DRC. So how can i do please?
thank you.

It is like that for now, you are right. We will improve it in future, to save the points.

use the pins with your mouse, you can drag them to any par of the map. zoom out the map, drag pins to your country.

Would you also be able to make it say a link isn't possible instead of saying the link is reliable, but a very high mast is required.
I don't think it is practical to suggest a 200m tall mast...

this suggestion is only shown, if the distance is such, that earth curvature is a problem.
200m mast is not something uncommon actually. you can't expect a 50km link with ground level antennas.

I doubt the curvature of the Earth would be a problem over 2km...
It should say the link is not possible, except with a high mast. Not the other way.
