I wonder what is the difference of cAP lite https://mikrotik.com/product/RBcAPL-2nD-307 vs cAP https://mikrotik.com/product/RBcAP2nD. Both are 2.4Ghz only, have same CPU und same size RAM.

While on paper they look pretty similar, disassembly would show otherwise. Both of them use a completely different PCB's and internal components. cAP version has metallic antennas with higher maximum gain.

The manufacturers sometimes do that trick - create two identical things (say Lenovo x1 carbon and T4xxs series), one is a bit more slick and compact compared to another, then they charge more for the former. Suppose this is the case.

The only truth from the speculations is that they have different physical designs. Where cAP-lite is actually much smaller or "slick".
