We have been using SXT Lite5 ac for almost 3 years now. But unfortunately Mikrotik stopped its production some months back and released an updated product SXTsq 5 ac. But we are not at all satisfied with the new product because-

• Poor Wireless performance - Signal / Throughput Issues

• Problem with the mount system - It is sideways and not in the center, so it may rotate during heavy wind.

• Many new units are getting the error - Kernel failure

The old SXT Lite5 ac performs much better both in terms of wireless signal strength and throughput. Its mounting system is also very easy to use. We had once of our SXT Lite5 ac damaged and we replaced it with SXT Lite5 ac. Suddenly I could see a increase of 10 dB signal (previously it was -49, then it became -59) there was throughput issues too. No change in position/height was made.

I would like you all to share your experiences with the SXTsq 5 ac and also love to hear suggestions for the betterment.

You shoud give a try to latest RouterOS 6.44 , as SXTsq5ac is ARM device, there are reports that last release is somewhere up to 2xfaster.
