I have a Wireless Wire Dish link, its length is 500 meters. signal strength on both sides is 80%
Today after a heavy rain the link stopped working. After the rain stopped, the link still didn't work.
I unplugged and plugged again the power strip where is the power supply of one of the dishses, (along with a router), and the link came back to work.
I see the 60GHz frequency is vulnerable to rain, even in short distances of 500 meters. The weird thing is I had to reboot one dish to make the link work.
I think an autoreboot when detects the link is broke could be a good fix, at least for getting the link back as soon the rain stops.
How can I make the bridge to automatically reboot after the link went broke down? is there a script for making that?
Thank you!
