I have the following scenario where I need to beam 2Gbit to another location. Distance 500m.
I already had setup a pair of LHG60's which worked very well. I now want to attach another pair to double the bandwidth.
I've set the two AP's on different frequencies.
The existing AP was mounted without radome. For the new AP I thought it was a good idea to try out the radome. To protect from snow and dirt.
The first (already existing link) is doing just fine and always steady.
Code: Select all
connected: yes
frequency: 58320
remote-address: B8:69:F4:95:5A:0C
tx-mode: dmg
tx-mcs: 8
tx-phy-rate: 2.3Gbps
signal: 80
rssi: -51
tx-sector: 35
tx-sector-info: center
distance: 496.6m
tx-packet-error-rate: 0%
Code: Select all
connected: yes
frequency: 60480
remote-address: B8:69:F4:91:60:94
tx-mode: dmg
tx-mcs: 8
tx-phy-rate: 2.3Gbps
signal: 95
rssi: -55
tx-sector: 21
tx-sector-info: right 0.6 degrees, down 0.6 degrees
distance: 496.15m
tx-packet-error-rate: 24%
So, before I try some things; remove the radome or maybe re-mount the antenna somewhere else, I'd like your opinion what causes this. Do you have any idea where to start? Thanks!
