Hello everyone,

I have a mikrotik access point and I want to implement the MAC address filter.
I know that first step is to disable default authenticate and then I enter the MAC addresses in the Access List.
When I add a new MAC address on Access list do I need to input them based on Interface or based on VLAN ID ?

Also one more question, does the MAC filtering affect on the guest netowrk? If I use MAC filtering based on VLAN ID then it souldnt right?

if you have VLAN configured in the installation because you have segmented traffic, then if you need to specify the VLAN.
If you do not use VLAN, then you only need to add the MAC of the host and it is not necessary to specify the interface or the VLAN
