I'm interested as well. My rb133c won't start up without some work with an 18v.85A adapter, whether over POE or straight plug. I am using an SR9.

Seems there may yet be some power issues with the 133. A firmware update to start the mini PCI slot later may do the trick.

Recently I had problems with the ethernet cable. My distributor send me a new brand and it's a total crap. It gave me a lot of headaches...

Buy quality ethernet cable and try.

Its better to use a STP Cat5 instead of UTP Cat6 as the STP comes with a metal jacket which when grounded cancels a lot of noise . Also check the guage of the wire.

A lot of companies say the cable is 24AWG but actually they are worst than 26AWG.

BYW MKSB : I am also from india and hopefully we can share a lot.

What is the rating of the Cat6 cable ? is it AWG24 or AWG22 ?

Do you use the IEEE Standard ( 568 , 568A ) ? If not then try using it.

if this question for me!! sure i m using 568A standard
do you think it will work when you just doing a colour matching game???
for me i dont care about AWG number coz its not accurate as you think
try and try then try then you will make it work somehow

Well... First of all it was for the poster who is getting High Latency and ping Losses. Don't take everything as granted .

And for color matching games try to use without following the standard and you will get the results. if not better then the worst pings and data loss especially when you are running high length of cable.

And as per your quote i would like to mention you that there are perfect cable that are 24AWG and 22AWG unless and until you are using crappy or borrowed cables from local store.

If you try industrial CAT6 then your view will change. Try using LAPP Cables and comment back.

mmm sounds gr8

have you tried 50 meter without the standard?

if u could make 20 meter cable without the colour standard you will be lucky

man i m in networking cables and wireless from 10 years
i m now 24years old - 10 years = 14 years old boy (it was as hoppy not as biz)

i m sure when the poster ues laptop power supply 19v it will help trust me

i m using 18v 1 amp on 35 meter cat6 rb133 2x radio one is XR2 an the other is 200mw card
working well no power outage errors no signal loss

When when i was new to networking i tried 50 ft non standard and kept scratching my head for continuous 8 hrs wasting around 40 RJ45 Jacks and the 50 ft cable itself.

The Poster needs to use around 18-20V switching Power supply instead of linear power supply.

I am sure that it will work. And as Taloot said the best regulated available is the laptop chargers. Temporarily use it and see whether it solves your problem or not.

Well... Now i am 27 and i started at 18 so still i need 1 more yr. to catch you.

When are you going to retire or can you go for a 1 yr. vacation ? :D

You must be using a switching power supply instead of a liner power supply.

Am i right ?
