[LoRa] forward to TTN and private LoRa-Server at the same time

Tue Jan 14, 2020 12:15 pm

Hello,

my wAP LoRa just arrived and i configured it to forward packets to TTN.
The configuration was very easy.
Great work!

In the future we want to setup a private LoRa infrastructure. (probably https://www.chirpstack.io/)
This should be possible: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=154813&p=765505&hilit=lora#p765505

But it would be great if the gateway could also forward packets to TTN at the same time to increase the coverage for the open community.
Is this possible?
Do I just have to create a second server entry and add this to the device?

I am a newbie to LoRaWAN.
Thanks.

Hello,
Yes, if you will set multiple servers, all LoRaWAN frames will be forwarded to all the servers you have specified.

Do you plan on setting up Telnet or SSH over the Lora Module? Or is this even possible with MT's implementation.
Just wondering in case you have the LoRa Radio in the middle of nowhere, and can drive to the base of the mountain, and connect via LoRa. Assuming there is no public gateways near it to use.

Just to save the trip up the mountain :-)

I've been playing around with LoRa for a GPS tracking solution and saw that MT had it in some devices.. so I thought, HEY... this would be cool.
