LHG 60G works at 2150m distance?

Mon Feb 17, 2020 10:48 am

I have a 5ghz link at 2150m distance.
I am wondering if a set of LGH60G would work fine at that distance.
Has anyone tested a similar setup?
Any information would be appreciated

With snow we have problems with short links. I would not go beyond a mile.

Well there is no snow in Santorini but there is frequent strong wind and fog, would it affect it that much?
Something like 500mbps full duplex would already be too much. Stability is more important than too high bandwidth
At what distance is yours?

Our longest Link is 1877m in Germany.
This link drowse with every normal rain.
More then 2km I would not go if this is a link with high Stability wishes.
Links about 700-800m never drops.....

Why you are looking for 60Ghz, no more spectrum at 5 Ghz?
