hAP router mode

Tue Jun 30, 2020 6:03 pm

I want to use hAP in both Switch as well as Router mode.

All Ethernet ports will be bridges as WAN and only Wireless Interface need to work as LAN mode (Router/NAT mode)

Is it possible in hAP

Just in case you have doubts trusting a man who has not discovered the razor or electric shaver..................
Pretty much all wifi devices in the MT lineup using RouterOS can do this.
It sounds like you have a definite WAN INPUT in mind and a definite WIFI capability in mind.

A. Can you expand on the number of ISPs you will be attaching, throughput etc, and expectations for that traffic.
B. Assuming all traffic will be wifi, is this traffic going directly to smart devices, smartphones, etc???? How many devices??

Just want to ensure expectations and requirements lineup!

You expressed the right impression at the right time. And that is what a real pro does

Which impression(s)?
a. that i knew what I was talking about and exuded eons of experience and on the cusp of spouting forth great knowledge?
b. that i cared deeply about the Ops predicament and was bursting at the seams to help my fellow man? or
c. that I gently pointed the Op into expanding his views on the possibilities of what must be considered when setting up a new router, with confidence but not bravado?

b. is what usually some activists (e.g. cats-lovers) do. And c. is something a priest / cult leader would do.

So definitely it's a. making you seem like a real IT pro
