One 532 board with two cards or two 532 boards with one card

Tue Jun 12, 2007 10:02 pm

Over a series of hops with is better for speed performance. One 532 board with two cards or two 532 boards with one card? I ask this knowing that each wireless hop will be half duplex. What I am wondering is if the speed performance is better by having a full duplex ethernet run between the two radios? Any info somebody could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

depends on what you are trying to do. You will get better preformance out of a single 532 with a single radio card, however, if it is stright though, two point to point links, I don't think you will see TOO much more preformance out of dual radios though.

Regardless, you can push around 90 mbit though ethernet to ethernet on a 532r5.
